A workspace is your shared home base: footage, projects, documents, analytics, and Astrono all live inside it, and the people you invite work alongside you. Your account can hold several workspaces, and three simple roles decide who can change what.
Team management lives in Settings → Members.
Workspaces: one per team or client
You can run multiple workspaces from the same account, each with its own plan, its own brand profile, and its own flows. Agencies use this to keep clients fully apart: create a separate workspace per client, invite the client in with the role you choose, and Astrono operates inside each workspace independently. You see all your clients; each client only sees their own workspace.
Roles: owner, admin, and member
- Owner created the workspace and holds the keys. Only the owner can change roles or remove admins.
- Admins run the day to day: connecting social accounts, editing the workflow, and inviting people are all owner-and-admin actions.
- Members do the actual work without touching settings.
Invite people
Invites are email links: enter a teammate's address, pick admin or member, and Soontra sends them a link to accept or decline. Seat limits are enforced as invites go out, so the team size always matches your plan — add seats or upgrade in Plans, pricing, and add-ons if you're full.
Remove a member: the personal-space successor
Removing someone isn't just flipping a switch, because people accumulate real work in their Personal drive space. Removing a member requires naming a successor for their Personal space first — another teammate who inherits those files so nothing is orphaned.
Demotions revoke AI access
Roles also gate AI connections. Demoting an admin to member revokes their API keys and MCP grants immediately — any AI client they connected loses access to the workspace the moment the demotion happens. See MCP scopes, safety, and rate limits for how connected-AI access is governed.
Delete a workspace
Deleting a workspace also cancels its subscription — billing is sorted out as part of the deletion, so you're never charged for a workspace that's gone. Because each workspace has its own plan, deleting one client's workspace leaves every other workspace and its billing untouched.
