How the 7-day free trial works

The trial gives you a week of the Starter plan with 120 AI minutes and 25 GB of storage, tells you exactly when your card is charged, and keeps your data exportable afterward.

First-time creators get a 7-day free trial of the Starter plan — a real allowance and real storage, so you can run an actual project on your own footage before you decide, instead of squinting at a locked-down preview.

The trial is designed to be predictable: you know exactly what you get, exactly when the card is charged, and exactly what happens to your data if you walk away.

What the trial includes

For 7 days you work on the Starter plan with a trial-sized allowance:

  • 120 AI minutes for indexing your uploads and running agent work.
  • 25 GB of storage for your files.

That's enough to upload real footage, have Soontra understand it, search it, and take a project from plan to draft — the full workflow, not a demo.

Why we ask for a card (and when it's charged)

Starting the trial requires a payment method, added through a secure setup. Nothing is charged when you add it — the card simply lets your workspace roll into the plan you picked if you stay.

  • If you abandon the card form partway through, nothing is created and nothing is charged — no half-made workspace, no trial burned.
  • Your card is charged on day 7 for the plan you picked.
  • We'll email you 24 hours before the charge, so nothing catches you off guard.

Cancel during the trial

You can cancel anytime during the trial from Settings → Billing, and you won't be charged. If you cancel after a charge has gone through, you keep access through the end of the billing period you paid for — cancelling never cuts off time you've already bought.

Your data after the trial

If your trial ends without a subscription, your data isn't deleted on the spot. It stays accessible for 30 days, and your files, projects, analytics, and documents are exportable in standard formats anytime — so you can pull what you need. After the 30 days, it's deleted unless you ask us to hold it longer.

If you come back within that window, everything is where you left it. For the details of exporting and deletion, see Account security, data export, and deletion.
