The YouTube dashboard is Soontra's deepest: everything from where viewers drop off to which playlist is quietly working, on one screen next to the footage and scripts that produced it. Connect your channel and the numbers come straight from YouTube itself.

Retention: where viewers drop off

The retention chart shows how long viewers actually stay. Open any video for a closer look at exactly where people leave — a cliff at the 30-second mark tells a very different story from a slow fade at the midpoint. Retention is the most honest signal you have about your editing: it shows where a video loses the room, so your next cut can fix it on purpose.

Traffic sources

The traffic sources breakdown shows how people find you — YouTube search, suggested videos, browse features, external links — and, per video, the search terms that brought viewers in. If one source dominates, that's where your titles, thumbnails, and keywords are earning their keep.

Audience: geography, demographics, devices

Three views answer who is actually watching:

  • Geography — the countries your viewers watch from, on a world map.
  • Demographics — age ranges and gender split.
  • Devices — what your audience watches on, plus playback locations (where on YouTube they press play).

Together they turn "my audience" from a guess into a picture you can aim the next video at.

Playlists and top videos

Playlist analytics show how your playlists perform as a unit, so you can see whether your curation is driving extra watch time. The top videos table ranks the period's winners with views, watch time, average watch time, and the subscribers each one earned — the quickest way to spot which format deserves more of your week.

Export to CSV

When numbers need to leave Soontra — a sponsor report, a manager's deck, your own deeper analysis — use the CSV export. It covers your headline numbers, engagement, top videos, and traffic sources, ready for any spreadsheet.
