Every dashboard and every published post in Soontra starts with a connection. You link each platform once from Settings → Connections, approve the sign-in on the platform's own page — Soontra never sees or stores your password — and that one connection powers both analytics and posting. There is nothing to link twice.
Only workspace owners and admins can connect or disconnect accounts, so a teammate can never link or unlink a channel behind your back.
Supported platforms today
Five platforms are live right now:
- Instagram (Business or Creator account)
- YouTube
- TikTok
- X
Facebook, Threads, and Pinterest are coming soon. Their cards appear in Settings → Connections, but they can't be connected yet.
Social sets: bundle accounts per brand
A social set bundles one account per platform into a single group — your own brand's YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok in one set, a client's accounts in another. The composer and the analytics dashboards always work inside one set at a time, so a caption written for a client can never land on your personal channel by accident.

Prerequisites before you connect
A few platform-specific requirements are worth sorting out up front:
- You need to be a workspace owner or admin. Members can use connected accounts but can't manage the connections themselves.
- Instagram requires completing Page Publishing Authorization — including two-factor authentication — in your Facebook Page settings. Skip this and Instagram will reject deliveries later.
- X posting requires the Creator plan or above and supports 1 connected account.
- LinkedIn posting requires the Creator plan or above.
Publishing is in pilot — analytics is open to everyone
Connecting an account always unlocks its analytics dashboard. Actually delivering posts through Soontra is a separate switch that is being rolled out gradually.
Once your workspace is on the allowlist, the same connections you already made for analytics start powering the composer — no reconnection needed.
Downgrades lock, never delete
If you move to a plan with fewer social sets than you're using, nothing is destroyed. The sets beyond your new limit are simply locked: their connections, history, and configuration stay intact, they just aren't usable until you upgrade again.
