Need a thumbnail concept, a mood frame, or a short motion clip? Describe it to Astrono in chat and it generates the asset for you — no separate tool, no exporting and re-importing. Everything it makes lands in your Drive alongside the rest of your work.
Generate an image
Describe the image you want in any Astrono conversation. Generation typically takes about 5–20 seconds, and each image costs 1.5 AI minutes. Be specific about subject, style, and framing — the more concrete the description, the closer the first result.
Generate a 5- or 10-second video
Ask for a short video and choose:
- Length — 5 or 10 seconds
- Orientation — landscape or portrait
- Ambient audio — optional
- Seed image — optionally provide a first frame, so the video starts from an image you already have
Video generation runs for 1–5 minutes in the background, so you can keep working — each video costs 15 AI minutes.
Where generations are saved
Every generated image and video is saved to the Astrono Generations folder in your Drive, so results are never trapped inside a chat thread. One thing to know: generated files aren't auto-indexed. If you want a generation to be searchable by its content later, index it yourself — see how AI indexing works.
Costs and limits
- Image — 1.5 AI minutes each
- Video — 15 AI minutes each
- Rate limit — a maximum of 6 videos per hour per workspace
Generation draws from the same monthly pool as indexing and agent runs; see AI minutes explained for the full picture.
What generation can and can't do today
Generation is built for creating new assets from a prompt, not for surgically editing existing ones.
For video, the seed image gets you continuity — start a clip from a generated image or an existing frame. And once you have real footage to work with, Astrono can cut and reframe it too: see edit video with Astrono.
